Mobility

On this page, discover how best to get to the European Cycling Championships as a visitor, preferably by bike and public transport. Tips for local traffic and information about local traffic measures can be found below.

Do you work in a host city or do you need to be in the vicinity of the course?

  1. Delay your travel until after the race. All the race info can be found here. That is not feasible and you really do need to be near the course?  Then contact the local authorities for more info about the traffic measures in their area.
  2. Follow the local diversions and allow for longer journey times because of these alternative routes.
  3. Avoid the traffic-free zones (overview map coming soon).
  4. Hasselt centre from 11 to 15 September? Travelling by train.
  5. Buses between Hasselt and Heusden-Zolder will continue to operate during the event, but will take a detour. Check the route planner and expect delays.
