After an attractive race in which the Limburg loop served as a backdrop for the attacking spirit, especially that of world champion Van der Poel, it ultimately ended in a bunch sprint in Hasselt. In this, Merlier was the fastest.

Lorena Wiebes clinches her second European title after a scintillating sprint

To loud cheers, the Elite Women set off in Heusden-Zolder for a 162 km race. In a thrilling bunch sprint, Lorena Wiebes from the Netherlands claimed her second European title, with Italy's Elisa Balsamo finishing second and Poland’s Daria Pikulik third.

Orn-Kristoff is the fastest one of three and wins the European title

151 Men Junior started their European Championship at the Sport Vlaanderen Heusden-Zolder Velodrome in Limburg. The Norwegian Orn-Kristoff defeated the Spaniard Hector Alvarez Martinez and the Frenchman Paul Seixas.
